Equipment Coordinator

As a member of Lakeshore’s administrave team, the Equipment Coordinator is a role model of Lakeshore’s values, upholds best practices, processes and coordinates repair and maintenance activity for all equipment within our facilities. The Equipment Coordinator operates out of Lakeshore’s Glendale location, and will travel to Lakeshore’s other locations as needed.



While under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Equipment Coordinator must be able to effectively and accurately perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Act as the Equipment point person to schedule troubleshooting and repairs as needs arise by initiating workorders
  • Schedule monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance on all equipment
  • Maintain service details, warranty information, preventative maintenance and invoicing logs in workorder system
  • Maintain minimal downtime for critical equipment
  • Communicates with staff pertinent repairs status updates
  • Collaborate with facility maintenance technicians to develop a stock of repair and replacement equipment parts to minimize downtime of equipment.
  • Develop and maintain service contact list for all facility and medical equipment
  • Works with technical staff receiving and installation of new or returning repaired equipment at each location
  • Courier inventory and equipment across locations as needed
  • Research new and existing equipment requests as needed
  • Collaborate with operations & finance team members on various projects




  • Knowledge of equipment in the medical field preferred
  • Experience with workorder systems preferred
  • Experience with scheduling service repairs and preventative maintained preferred


Associate's degree preferred



  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and workorder systems
  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication, and maintains a harmonious and constructive relationship with those contacted in the course of work. This is a professional environment and professional etiquette is expected.
  • Analytical and Organization Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve problems. Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks. 
  • Confidentiality: With access to proprietary and other confidential information, must be highly trustworthy and able to handle confidential records.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
